I can only imagine what a chore it would be to try and replace the seal with the engine in the car. It takes a bit of work to get the seal to slid into the channel even with all of the space of an empty engine compartment. The "long section" goes on the left ,right and rear as one piece. The "short section" is the piece in the front side (under the shock mount area) Here are some photos Good luck
