I helped a friend install the Rennkit 4" spoiler electric lifts on his 2002 996 turbo. It was not too bad to install as long as you can do some electrical wiring. Just follow the instructions and get their special wrench. It is a two man job when handling the spoiler. The right hand motor is a tight fit when closing the lid. His had the waterproof rubber boots which may have contributed to the close fit.
