Exactly my point...If this car was fully restored, AND had a clean title, it might be worth 100k if it were a really good restoration. But the PROBLEM with this car is that it’d still have a salvage title, which would make it worth far less. And with the cost to restore this car as it sits in its current condition, it only holds any value at all in parting it out. Which is exactly why the car has sat untouched since 1981, cause it makes no financial sense to restore it - not back then or even now. Offering it as a restoration project is nothing anyone would consider with any common sense, which is why it’ll languish unsold forever until the owner finally decides to either part it out himself, drastically lower the asking price, or sell it to a Porsche dismantler for them to part it out.
