Headlight flickering - VR or Alternator time?
Nostatic posted on the same topic today - must be something in the air...
When I started up the 3.2 this morning I noticed that my headlights (all the lights, actually) were kinda pulsing.
I suspect that it's the VR or alternator brushes, as discussed in Nostatic's thread but my question is:
As the 3.2 has the alternator with the built in VR - wouldn't it make sense to replace the entire unit meaning the alternator rather than just the VR in the case of these symptoms? Is this kinda flickering indicative of brushes that are near the end of their life?
