Yesterday, I got one of those scam calls, caller pretending to be somebody I know, in a jam, needing $$ to get out. Guy knew my name...hmmm. Must have also known my age, because he called me "grandpa". The tale was of getting a DUI, needing money to repair damages he'd caused. I let the tale unfold, saying "gee that's tough", etc.
Then when I told him I had no grandkids, he began cursing me.
I just can't understand why some people are so nasty these days.
