Here finally is an update on my color change project. Unfortunately the paint job did not stick. The painter did not use etch primer, just primer filler and the paint did not adhere on the galvanized steel. It came off the car with compressed air alone, 80% of the surface, down to bare metal by just using an air gun at normal pressure in my garage. So all had to be removed, every crevice and difficult corner. My fingertips were bleeding from the emery paper for weeks. Now it is finally painted again, with epoxy primer this time and it looks good.
