Only if your are ignorant. If one was an idiot and did not know about the time change they would be in an hour early today. If they used their phone or electronic device as the alarm clock it would adjust and wake you at the correct time.
I was in the kitchen rinsing the coffee pot and my wife said I was going to be late to work and the mean boss was gonna be mad. I checked my watch and still 61 seconds to go. So I carefully cleaned out the coffee pot and walked into my office at 7:59:57 three whole seconds early! Cool, overtime pay!
Most of my devices set the time automatically. Mrs Carrera takes care of the oven and the microwave and her 11,000 antique clocks. Well OK, not quite 11,000 but it is double digits. She likes antique clocks.
I take care of the HVAC thermostat, and the bathroom floor heater thermostats, and the sprinkler system.
