That is basically what we are supposed to do, but enforcing it has been pretty lax.
Many times I am so glad I am not a part of the IT cubical farm. Pretty sure I wouldn't be employed there for long if I was. When I was assigned working from home they were tight on space, let me work from home and put two people in my old office.
