2003 r1100sa - ABS failure - pump bad 2x in 4,000 miles. Bike had low mileage from the first replacement at 23K. Now has 27K, although has been 6 years. What the heck is this !! Dealer wants $3500 for a new pump installed. Bike is not worth that to me, after the first pump install I do not want to put that kind of bucks into it. I asked if the dealer would do a by pass of the ABS, was told it would cost even more. Plenty of extras, motor runs strong. Original owner.

ABS lights read out low level in ABS pump. Dealer says fault readouts point to pump failure.

By pass? Part out? sell as is?

Anyone else have this issue?
