Bypassing the iabs is not expensive. I did it on a k12rs with iabs (absIII) and it was easy. Not sure it's required to pass inspection. Although abs isn't required for all motorcycles it is standard equipment on that bike. Remember that the abs lights will continue to flash so you might have to do something about that for the inspection.
