The lead Icon test pilot took off in an area where he couldn't clear the trees and didn't have space to turn around. He was basically in a different area of the lake that he thought. It had nothing to do with the plane or his ability to pilot the plane and everything to do with his navigation.

This one sounded like he stalled down low after hot dogging it.
