Most rodent type animals have huge front teeth. Without knowing, and just seeing a picture with little to no size reference and having been skinned and cooked (and without the big paddle tail), I don't think most folks are going to tell the difference.
I've never killed a beaver (and the ones that I've eaten didn't look anything like that).
