Not a good idea for a couple of reasons. As mentioned the high back seats should not be used with harnesses.
Not a good idea to use harnesses on the street.
Race harnesses should only be used with seats that are designed for them (race seats) and with either a roll bar or cage, with a helmet.
At any rate race harnesses are not comfortable or practicable. Try reaching in the glove box while wearing race harnesses.
