Good decision, what can be fitted is often not the same as what should be fitted. For safety sake all sanctioning bodies that I know of require that the shoulder harness pass through holes in the seat, additionally there are specs defining and constraining the spread at the bar which varies w/ the distance of the bar from the shoulder.
