I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. I said nothing about how you spoke to me. I said you can't tell me to shut up and leave and expect me to follow your command.
When I said a grand or two, I was talking labor, since your first post indicated that he had already committed to sending you the parts for the repair. You said you had a quote for well over $10k. When I asked for it, you admitted you didn't have a quote. I then laid out how I would handle it in detail, with getting an actual quote and presenting it to Fred. I didn't attack you. I didn't say your claim was unfounded. I said your $10k desired pay out was arbitrary and unreasonable high, and not something I saw you getting out of the seller.
I haven't said a single thing about trial by internet. I haven't attacked the victim. I have tried to encourage you to keep an even head about it, even though you were clearly steaming mad. And your response to it all was to attack me. Your behaviour here says way more about you and your character than me. You were offered help and guidance, you just didn't like what you were hearing.
