We went to the car rental place to pick up a...........
Rental car. It is a Fiat 500. I have not been n a Fiat for over about 40 years. I hope this one is more reliable. The rental company pushes the roadside assistance program they have for "just $15 more per day" but I ain't gonna bite. If that car breaks down we will just leave it where it is and make other arraignments.
We are driving down to Texas to try to talk a company into picking us for a upcoming and ongoing project. Going head to head with a GIANT aerial mapping company from up in Yankee land. They fly huge expensive aircraft, and top notch million dollar camera systems and LIDAR systems. We are going to be a lot cheaper, and a faster turn around and we will keep the work in the USA. The big boys often send projects to India for the data processing. It will be a long day.
