One of the young men that frequent the cigar lounge I go to is one of the least aggressive, and least macho guys I have ever met. One day I mentioned to him about what a nice guy he comes off as and he tells me this is one of the reasons the car dealership gave him a shot at selling cars, his non-threatening persona.
We had quite the conversation about this trend, and I am convinced the "
slay the tiger and bring home the meat" era is over in many circles, but not everyone is ready for it.
Macho is fighting back and making it's last stand in some very high profile areas, but it's a last gasp I suspect.
