The all-new 911 Carrera T (T stands for touring) is being called the entry level Carrera. This "special edition" is for the Porsche enthusiast that isn't looking for excessive power at a relatively inexpensive price tag, $103,150. It is equipped with the twin turbo 3.0L flat-six engine and puts down 370hp/339lbtq. It comes dressed with a 7 speed manual transmission, but that will cost you more- an additional $3,730. Or you can stick with the PDK dual-clutch automatic.
You have pull straps for door handles, thinner glass for the rear/quarter windows, reduced sound insulation, and in Europe Porsche will ship it without a stereo. Back up cameras are still an option for the U.S. models and the T will be the lightest model in the line-up- 3142 pounds.
