I've had 2 heart "episodes" in the last 11 months. Neither was typical or resembled what you might come to know as a heart attack. They come in different forms and different ways. The first for me was an aortic valve replacement due to a hole that was created. The second was 2 weeks AFTER I "graduated" from cardio therapy. I had what they call a sudden heart death. My heart just stopped. I fell off my bike and wasn't breathing when people rushed over to me. I was lucky enough to fall in front of 3 police officers, one grabbed his AED machine and shocked me back to life. Neither was predicted and the symptoms we're: light headed, extremities cold, nauseous.....if you don't feel right.....go directly to the ER. It saved my life.... twice!
