What is funny is the angst this chart seems to create, yet when you click the "personal freedom tab" Texas is 49 of 50.

I poked around it a bit, seems I live in a nice middle road of nearly everything area.

The beauty of living within a few miles of a state border, is I get to experience the advantages of their different governments.

Each state is founded as a sovereign country that has yeilded particular jurisdiction to a federal government. We refer to this as one nation, but it is 50 manifold governments working together.

It is a great thing that no one state's rules govern all, and we get to move quite easily to the one that suits us best.
