I can’t help much as i’ve managed to avoid ABS like the plagued(until my latest 2) I know their are fans out there but i’m Not one of the them.
I waited nearly 2 years trying to buy a K1200r Sport without it and finally had to give in and put up with it sure enough the ABS unit went belly but later versions!! well later than 07 have come on by some margin.
When the one on my K stopped working guy at the shops says ‘Been down a pot hole?) and sure enough I had but i’m Reliably informed later stuff is much better so i’d Be looking for a modern day rebuild its come on some in the last 15 years.
