flatbutt, do you mean just point and shoot? No, camera on a tripod with 300mm lens. I bracketed exposures as the moon rose, some show a lot more detail on the moon but lost the clouds. I thought the clouds were the best part so this was my favorite even though the moon is a bit overexposed. Some guys will shoot HDR to capture ALL of the dynamic range and then spend a dozen hours post processing but I sorta like to keep it simple.
