ed's beatles tv show second appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show was from Miami on February 16, 1964. The performance was done live from their hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Prior to the performance, The Beatles played to a live audience during the afternoon at the hotel. Then at 8:00 p.m., they played The Ed Sullivan Show live, via satellite.

somebody started a rumor I had tickets to this gig
I was 13 in junior high in miami [coral gables]
suddenly every girl in the school wanted to go to the show
truth was I had no tickets or even knew there was to be a show
so as a stupid 13er I said I have no idea there is to be a show no tickets or anything
look back I bet I could of played that a bit better
likely a lot better as the girls were total nuts about the beatles then
