Some models offer a dual exhaust feature...not just twin pipes but a feature of a dash switch "for the track"
that opens things up more.
That said, there are tons of aftermarket exhausts out there for Mustangs. I suspect that's probably what you're hearing.
Michael, you'd be welcome on IMBOC, the Bullitt Mustang board, anytime. Some L.O. guys there, also a Canadian who posts of tracking his 350GTR. Poor guy...his original tires were good for only 500 miles.
