i have one that has been with me longer than i lived in CA. makes it maybe 25 years old.
it takes 3 AAA batteries. which is what i didnt like. it made it too heavy, so it bobbed on my head. i replaced it with a Black Diamond (the SPOT i think), and it failed..how? any amount of jostling in my pack would turn it on. i would dig in my pack and find it glowing..for who knows how long? that could be disasterous on a long 10 day hike. it got downgraded to my truck headlamp. my Petzls are now failing..they burn batteries so fast.
i've jogged with my Zebralight. it is light, so i dont feel it, even with my club footed jogging style. i dont feel it bouncing on my forehead.
