yea I said it.
got a new 65in Samsung.
the picture is so good movies don't look "real" anymore.
harry potter was the first thing we saw on it, my daughter likes it, and you could really tell that the room in the house was a set instead of looking like a real room on our old plasma TV.

that's not what really yanks my chain.
THERE IS NO FLIPPIN ANALOG AUDIO OUTPUT!!!!

my wife bought me headphones because I am deaf in one ear and now I cant use them. there is a digital audio out but I am not sure I can use it because the setting on the TV says "speakers out" or "digital out". if I select digital the speakers no longer work.
I have not bought a digital to analog converter yet, I am afraid it will just be a waste of money.
I also use to run the audio to my stereo for the rare occasion I would turn it on.

we also have a WI and I don't think that will work as the wi uses the 3 RCA cables.

its like when computer manufactures eliminated floopy drives and 9 pin ports. hey, I work for the govt and we still have floppies and no computers with drives.
if I pull a file from the radar system(FAA) it goes on a floppy, then I have to find the ONE computer in the building that has a drive. then I have to put it on a memory stick to put it on my computer. don't laugh, we still use DAT's and I know if one computer that runs on DOS and has no hard drive, the program runs off of a floppy.

oh yea, new TV's suck.
