My wife has totally embraced all forms of electronic entertainment, and sits in front of our 55" Samsung, with her laptop open on her lap, her phone in her hand, and her Ipad off to the side. She records everything, so not one single commercial can be watched (hell, I can't even get up to get a drink), and hates it when I want to watch a ball game, or race, and has to suffer through the commercials.

Even when she isn't at home in the evening, I can't watch anything that isn't being taped on her list, because the programmed unit will only record 2 shows. You can't turn the channel from either of these shows, and can only watch some pre-taped, or something that is "on-demand", (but then you can't fast forward through the commercials), you should see how mad she gets when I cancel her taping and watch a car show !

I am anti-technology, and have no problem only seeing a few shows per week, but she has already consumed those time slots, arghhhh !
