The deal is there are EPA US restrictions and California restrictions on paint. I am probably simplifying but there are blanket rules then geographic overlay rules.
Fortunately for Tim, San Mateo was outside of the stricter rules and fell under US regulations AND, most importantly, the jobber had a robust 22 line business feeding restorations. He did not have to wait for this or that base color.
I know that Sacramento and Stockton are restricted.
My Akron jobber has 22 line but given the lack of product movement they wait for an order, see what base colors they have and then you pay up front for those they don't have. Well, you pay for your order then they order what is needed. Takes several weeks.
Tim will remember the jobber's name.

Do you happen to have the name of the shop in San Mateo that carries the 22 line. Finishmaster here in San Jose used to, but no longer carries it.
