repair the seats - don't recover - then you would have nice original "Sport" seats. I needed to recover mine in an '84 and bought new covers from Classic9 - did the work myself for an all in of around $1800. They look new - not original - I would of preferred original but they were too far gone. An upholstery shop should be able to stitch these up...
