I can strain myself and come up with specific circumstances where tailgating is a legitimate strategery.
But for the life of me I simply do not understand why someone would tailgate when simply cruising or even in suburban traffic. Do they not even remotely understand physics? I tend to drive on the slow side and am aware of the annoyance it can cause but sheesh. What's the difference between going 50 and going 55 to the next stoplight? Two seconds?
I haven't experienced road rage even once in the last 20 years, either. What is it with these people?
