I am not sure if you can BUT here is something scary....the Netflex tech people can look at your system remotely and see what cables you have, what TV or Bluray player and who knows what else! When we first hooked it up several years ago I had a "slow" HDMI cable but did not know it, the tech support lady had me fire things up and immediately told me what speed cable to get! Scary
