On the licensing money expenses I am just keeping my head down and doing what I am told.
It is difficult for me. Especially when I see anyone getting a computer to do their work gets a full 365 license with Office365 that lets them download All the office apps. Out of 300 users with full licenses only 200 have installed office, and then just to get Outlook. We only had 20 copes of Office licensed when this Office365 stuff started. That means we have at least 100 users costing us $20/mo each that could be costing only $3.70 each for just a mailbox and access to all the online versions of the office apps including web based Outlook. That's $1630 a month. And that doesn't include the other 150 license that need to be reassigned as to how people are actually using them.
That also does not include the 330 $4/mo web mail accounts and the 30 computer kiosks we put around our shop for people to keep track of their training and vacation time/benefits that nobody actually uses. Employees just ask their supervisors like they always have.
No waves or ripples starting from here, just do what I'm told. Justifies my Job if I was actually getting paid as an email administrator.
