Like all "investment commodities" things change and pendulums swing....hard to deny....but it happens. Hasn't for Speedsters in the big picture but probably has in reality as there may be "softness". No one likes to see it least of all those who buy ( have bought) high. Remember s_____ happens...
It is called a bubble and bubbles do two things ...They distort reality AND they break !
You may not like it but that does not make an expert wrong for saying it.
Some things I read in the article that have been stated in my life of poor or unlucky car buying decisions:
* you cant buy miles ( Todd Webb)
* Always try to buy a premium car, it will return its value to you ( Ed Mayo)
* And paraphrased, rare is not created by you establishing "silly" criteria ( Dale Miller)
There are many more but safe to say I have too many memories.......
Dale ( he was PCA historian a 100 years ago) added I get calls from people say may car is rare because it is Green ( enter blue pink etc) ....I saw post recently for 'rare " Petro; blue SC....Really ??????
This happened in the Mopar market multiple times ( I have a buddy who is one) and the swings were HUGE ! The best message here is get a truly good car and things will be good.
Final thought,, ,on here, I wish our debates could remain civil...It helps the discourse and makes it a learning experience vs a shouting match.
An old boss who had his flaws ( don't tell him) once said " when you get angry you loss the intellect of your argument"........ don't always succeed in following his words but try it.

P.S Roads Scholar article gave me a chance to see Article on Dwight Mitchell
Ran AXs with he and other legends in PCA GGR. He was the man ......Proud to have ever even been in his zip code ( and I was thank God for the 914-6).
