This past week I had a plumbing issue: I broke the water trap on my shop air line trying to get the bowl lose, in addition to having a defunct particulate trap for which I could no longer get replacement elements. I needed a way to "remove" the old pieces and "insert" the new ones without completely tearing everything apart. The only way I could think of to do this was with a union.
