Finally Got To The Range Today

For the past two weeks I have been fixing things and I finally got caught up I think? Started with the battery replacement on my wife's iPhone, Fry's had an iFixit repair kit in stock for hers, killed a day. Next day my wife fell and hit her head so off to the ER which killed a day and half the night as she had to get a CT scan and there were several very bad accidents and a stabbing locally so we had to get in line so to speak. Noticed at the ER that MY iPhone's battery died in about 4 1/2 hours when it used to last about 4 days. Another iFixit and they are great with the right tools and even an old battery puller so another day killed. My wife then decided she needed some pans from out large hanging and moveable pots and pan rack but it would not come down? Seems the cable/rope connector was caught and it took most of the day to get into the hidden area and get things loose and I redid the connector. Works very well now.

On Saturday we got the regs renewal for her Caddy and it needs smog. Then she says oh yeah the little engine light is on so on Sunday I plugged in the code reader...P0335 stored and P0385 intermittent which are the upper and lower crank sensors. I checked and the oil pressure switch has a slight weep sooooo off to the local NAPA on Monday and the parts didn't come in until Tuesday. The job required pulling the oil filter, oil filter adapter and wait for oil to stop dripping (an hour or so). Then you can get to both sensors and fortunately I kept my pneumatic ratchets so thing came off and back on fairly quickly. That killed a day. The next day I noticed the oil reminder in my Chevy was close to 10% so I got the filter and a jug of Mobile One and another day was used up. Finally on Friday I ran my wife to a follow up apt. with our family doctor and then on the week end did nothing but sleep off and on to let my joints quit hurting from the Caddy work!

Today.......200 yard work with my 45 caliber under hammer muzzle loader and it shot great! Ahhhh
