The 2006-2008 IMS bearings still fail, just not in as large numbers as the single row.
LN Engineering makes a retrofit kit for the 06-08 engines which will allow you to use either their ceramic hybrid or the bullet proof IMS Solution. Unfortunately, you need to take the engine out and apart to do this update.
