I do not know how you can document the smog exempt advantage or really quantify it?
But it has to exsist to those who it would make life easier, states like Cal. or Colorado, etc. but also a whole lot states it makes no difference between a 75 and 76 car like AZ. NY, Iowa, etc.
You should mention it of course in the ads. There would be no difference in price in most states but they should be able to ignore that comment if it does not pertain to them.
