Based on owning this thing for about 8 years now, would not consider another brand if this is typical of Kenmore dishwashers. Think it was 700-900 if I remember, thought it was crazy at the time. We moved to FL for about 18 months and that was the one thing about our kitchen that my wife missed the most.
My brother built a house last year and had his builder replace his Bosch with something else after 3 months. He said it was great when it worked but it broke twice and lead time on parts were 2 weeks each time, second time he said take it out.

We bought an all stainless Bosch SHE... last year, it has been great, dishes come out sparkle clean, and so quiet you can’t even hear it.
In fact we haven’t heard it since thanksgiving when it quit during the first of two loads we planned to run. Bosch service came out under warranty the first time, two weeks after we called, and replaced the mother board. It ran once and went silent again.
Bosch service came out one week later stood looking at it and said it’s broken again (very observant fellow) I will have to order a new board. We will call to setup another visit in two weeks when the parts come in.
Right now not thrilled with Bosch I’m guessing that Bosch serviceman is not nearly as lonely as the Maytag man.
