I would have recommended you use imgur, but I have a feeling it's only time until they stop doing the free image hosting like Photobucket did.

There is a useful extension for Chrome called photobucket hotlink fix. (I think they have one for Firefox and Opera too). You add it to chrome and it automatically replaces broken links with ones that work.

No idea how it works or if Photobucket will find a way to block it at some point as well but for the time being its an essential add on for anyone that browses car forums.
