I remember when this procedure was not as common as today, my dad had this done.
I helped him take the dressing off his eye in a darkened room and he was amazed at the difference right away before bringing the light up to a low level.
One thing that bothered him right away was that looking through the new lens, the colour white was bright and clean while through the old lens everything was yellow and kind of wavy.
Dad was completely happy after getting the second eye done.
