Copper pots are great. I have a ton, mostly bought in France and shipped home. Most is the Mauviel 3 mm stainless lined stuff with cast iron handles. Heavy, which is the main drawback. I have a few that are tin lined, don't like those too much. I'll post a pic later.

For polishing, get some "Twinkle" copper polishing paste. You just run hot water on the pot, sponge on the Twinkle, then rinse it off and dry. No scrubbing or rubbing, well maybe the first time you're shining up a copper pot that is dull brown, but if you get in the habit of applying Twinkle after every few uses, it only takes 30 sec. Some hardware stores have it.
