The calipers do not need to be rebuilt unless the piston seals are leaking or the pistons are sticking in the bores and it's determined that the brake hoses are not the cause - again, throwing money away for no reason (other than you seem to enjoy doing so  ).

This is what I was thinking.. My mechanic only noted the need for rotors but I’ll be ready for this..
