My Carrera Targa has a completely rebuilt engine, transmission and a new clutch as well as a bare metal respray, new interior, refinished wheels, new tires and on and on. It is fully sorted and ready to be enjoyed. Hard to say that about many of them.
It's an incredible car to drive and hard to replace. It's one that I don't mind keeping until someone who fully appreciates the quality of the car and restoration comes along. Oh and yes, they will also need a check. :-)
