No att joy. Still not a peep.
Had to go to meeting at the office, then to an appointment with my dermotologist.
The doc appointment was for 11:30. Finally got in to see her at 3:30. Was expecting to spend only an hour at the doc and get lunch on the way home. Took so long my blood sugar tanked. Came really close to passing out. Felt the closest I've ever been. There was a diabetes doc down the hall. They came and took my blood sugar. It was 45 think am supposed to go to emergency if under 50. They ran and got my some glucose pills and a sandwich from their deli. By the time she finished her exam I was feeling better.
I take two kinds of insulin. A long acting and a short acting. I dose the long acting based on when I expect to eat how much during the day. If I eat more than I planned for I take some of the short acting to keep my blood sugar from spiking. If I don't eat at the time i regularly eat or not enough carbs the long acting insulin makes my blood sugar too low.
Think it served her right running that far behind expecting her patients to wait 4 hours! Found out she even went to lunch while her patients from before lunch, including me, were waiting.
On a good note, got the deposit today for buying my Vacation hours, $8K!
