Multiple times I have had cohorts pursuing dates to complete RS restorations....... 1 sold for $600,000 in 2007, the other a lightweight is valued today at $1.3M +/- a bit. The cost of "Number correct" wheels to them was inconsequential in relationship to the value of the project. To the right project these wheels had greater than sun coast value.
Matt; My favorite a 2.7 911/83 MFI motor. I had the opportunity to purchase a complete motor for $21,000. Figured by time it was installed I would have been in for $50,000.
Blew it.
