Never take a chance with any changes in vision. Be it over a few month, days or hours. I see my ophthalmologist every 3 months over the past 22 years. I have bad eye issues.
Last winter the wife suddenly has a black stripe in her eye, overnight seem to expand, next morning it was time to call my dock. Short check and than a 60 mile emergency trip to a Retina Specialist to start the fix.
The reality is a detached retina can cause blindness from hours to days but unchecked WILL lead to blindnesss. Symptoms can be as slight as floaters sporadic as bright flashes or darkness.
Do Not Waste Time if something changes have it checked ASAP.
Enough of my PSA but after 22 years I got to say something here.
