Retirement may not be as relaxing as I thought it would be, but at least I'll be in the enviable position of being able to pick and choose assignments.  |
That sounds great. I'd definitely keep working as an independent, you can control how much you want to work, when, where, etc. That will alleviate one of the boondoggles of retirement, getting old from lack of activity and purpose. Though that is not a problem for everyone, it is for some. You are still a relatively young guy.
