Question For The Docs. Lump In Neck
Hi All,
Hope everybody had a great Christmas and New Year.
My Question: Noticed a lump in the right side of my neck, down low, kinda where the neck ends and near the jugular vein. Went to the Dr and had an ultrasound (sonogram) and they couldn't really see anything but reported 'reactive lymph nodes'. Forward three weeks and I now have a small pea sized lump there that is really sore to touch and the surrounding neck area is sore to move as well. I have also noticed that I am sweating a lot more than usual and some nights my pillow is quite damp.
I had a blood test this morning (results Tuesday) and another ultrasound tomorrow. Also noticed last night in the shower a couple of pea sized lumps in the groin.
Are these worrisome symptoms?
I'm a bit worried I may have a battle ahead.
Cheers
Scott
