If it gets swollen enough it will trigger more frequent, and more intense, headaches.
I lived with a lump on the left anterior side of my neck for 25 years to the point where the headaches became too hard to deal with.
Turns out the lump was impeding blood flow to the brain.
Outpatient surgery, awake for the whole procedure lying on my stomach. Prior to the removal, when I messaged it, it felt like a dime, but the autopsy said it was 50 cm (almost the size of a half dollar.)
I will always remember the CLUNK it made when the doctor dropped it in the emesis basin.
