I haven't read this thread through, might have already posted, but here's my version....
Bought a new '87 Supra Turbo back then....put 100k smiles on her...simply awesome for back then, tame by today's cars. I did things in that Supra that I would not even attempt in my '88 911 since I don't have the aero bits. My 911 feels lightweight and nimble, by comparison, but with "me" behind the wheel, the Supra was easier to push to the limits...I had it @ 140 once....10K below redline still, and man that car was PLANTED on the blacktop. A heavier car, but in 2nd and 3rd gear with the turbo boost kicking in....a total hoot
